Description
Calle 23 Añejo is distilled in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, using 100% agave, and spends 16 months resting in ex-bourbon barrels.This is one of those dessert-like añejos. It's super creamy, chocolatey, and rich. It's almost like drinking a caramel flan in a chocolate sauce that's been sprinkled with a hit of freshly grated cinnamon. There is still some agave fruit shining through, though it's more of a baked, roasty flavor than the younger expressions.
